Journal Aim and Scope:
.The periodical "Digital Presentation and Preservation of Cultural and Scientific Heritage. Conference Proceedings" presents innovative results, research projects, practices, case studies, and applications in the field of digitisation, documentation, archiving, representation and preservation of global and national tangible and intangible cultural and scientific heritage.
The focus is on the search and the presentation of innovations such as innovative and creative tools for approaching cultural/scientific assets, applications and services for better access and exploitation of the rich and diverse digital cultural/scientific heritage in a sustainable way, intelligent curation, creative use/re-use and remix, reinterpretation, study, understanding, analysis, personalization, adaptation, semantics, protection, restoration, preservation, etc. The research community deals with the important issues of handling data directly, affecting the economy (as presented by creative and re-creative industry), the public sector (cultural institutions—museums, libraries, galleries, etc.), education, and society as a whole.
The periodical "Digital Presentation and Preservation of Cultural and Scientific Heritage. Conference Proceedings" includes the best papers of the eponymous conference DiPP, organised by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences under the patronage of UNESCO (2013-2017).
